As the full-stack developer and founder of Stizel Web Solutions, I provide full-stack development of web applications with Angular, React, Git, Firebase and WordPress. My front-end technologies include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SASS/SCSS and Bootstrap. I’m responsible for front-end and back-end web application development of Stizel.com, Stizelwebs.com and all websites developed through my web application development firm. I analyze web traffic and trends with Google Analytics and provide digital strategies based on these analytics. Previously I developed applications with Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySQL, CakePHP and Joomla.
As the Director of Digital Development and Operations at AGA, I lead a 3 person development team in development and management of all of AGA’s digital applications. In my role, I develop with Angular, React, Node, Firebase, AWS and WordPress. In addition to that, I manage our Auth0 SSO account, creating and managing SSO connections for all of AGA’s digital partners.
As an eMarketing Designer at Southern Methodist University, I was responsible for complete website support. That included design, development and ongoing maintenance, using Dreamweaver, Sitecore and WordPress to deploy all aspects on a variety of SMU websites. I integrated responsive designs into several SMU websites with Bootstrap. I provided front-end development for campus maps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery. I created event registration forms with client-side validations using JavaScript. I develop and manage websites on Sitecore content management system with XSL/XSLT. I was also responsible for email marketing utilizing Mailchimp.com to create, test, troubleshoot and deploy html-based emails (including responsive emails), deliver, track and analyze email marketing data.
As a front-end webmaster at Regent University, I developed front end code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and created and followed coding standards across all central Regent-related web properties, including law.regent.edu. I created and converted PSD’s to valid HTML/CSS for both websites and HTML emails. I monitored web metrics via Google Analytics to track and improve website usage and usability and the effectiveness of marketing emails. I created and manipulated graphics with Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks, and I implemented multimedia files on a variety of websites with JavaScript and jQuery. I used current web standards and technologies to comply with Regent/departmental web branding, policies and guidelines.
